Service Description
Also known as phacoemulsification (phaco), cataract
surgery involves removing the cloudy natural lens and replacing it
with a clear artificial lens.
Surgery is usually performed under topical anaesthetic (eye drops rather
than injection), and the procedure typically takes between
15–25 minutes.
I work with insurance companies and offer competitive self-pay prices
for patients without health insurance. Fixed pricing is available
on request.
Fixed price includes:
Hospital fee
Surgeon fee
One follow-up consultation
My surgeon’s fee remains the same regardless of surgical complexity.
Additional charges may apply:
Premium lens (if requested) and associated calculations
Enhanced surgery equipment (e.g. iris expansion devices)
Non-standard anaesthetic, if required
